The world renowned water gardens and nursery at Longstock are available for you to visit while staying on the Estate. The Longstock Park Water Gardens covers around seven acres and was originally created by the Beddington family during the early 1900's. The water gardens became part of the estate in 1942 and since then the gardens have been nurtured and developed to become the finest, famous water gardens. John Spedan Lewis spent much of his later life in these gardens and whilst the gardens remain true to this time, our philosophy is to evolve the landscape so that it remains a vibrant, tranquil and beautiful place to visit. To visit, a booking is required on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through Partner Choice, and is free to Partners and their guests (max 4), all other days of the week you are welcome to visit at any time. A code will be available from reception, and social distancing measures are in place to allow you the freedom to explore safely.
Information about local attractions that are open are located on the ground floor notice boards, along with a map of the Leckford Estate which you can photograph for your reference.
