Please be aware that the site and grounds are set in very rural countryside which present natural features that can be dangerous. Please take full responsibility for you children’s safety, especially around the car park and road areas. We want you to have fun during your stay and do everything we can to make the site as safe as possible.
The Leckford Estate is a working farm and some areas have limited access for visitors. The River Test is busy with fly fishing the majority of the year and we would therefore ask that guests respect river users and not walk or cycle along the river banks.

BBQs and Fire Pits
CAMPSITE and READY PITCHED TENTS: Partners staying on the Campsite and in our Ready Pitched Tents are allowed to bring their own BBQs and Fire Pits but they must be raised off the ground so that it does not burn the grass. It is the Partners responsibility to dispose of coals once cooled in the metal bin in the waste disposal area.
SAFARI TENTS: Partners staying in our Safari Tents have their own Fire Pit which can be used if required. It is the Partners responsibility to clean the Fire Pit after use and dispose of coals once cooled in the metal bin in the waste disposal area.
LODGES: Partners staying in our Lodges have a built-in BBQ outside of their Lodge which can be used if required. It is the Partners responsibility to clean the BBQ after use and dispose of coals once cooled in the metal bin in the waste disposal area.
Pets are not allowed to stay in Safari Tents, Ready Pitched Tents or Lodges or to go inside any buildings on site (except guide dogs).
Dogs (maximum 2) are allowed in your own tents and caravans for the majority of the year excluding some high season dates (see below for dates). Dogs must be well behaved and not cause a nuisance and must not be left unsupervised. Owners are responsible for clearing up mess and disposing in specified bins. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and must keep to footpaths and tracks around the estate, observing and abiding to any notices especially around live stock. If any dog is considered to be causing a concern or the owner has not acted responsibly, you will be asked to settle your account in full and leave the site.
Dogs are not allowed to stay on the campsite during the following "Peak School Holiday" dates in 2020
17th July to 7th September
If you are bringing your dog to site during a 'Low Season' date please inform us in the 'special requests' section when making your booking.
