Sailing Days with the Partnership Sailing Club
Who can book to sail on a JLPSC recreational yachting/training/racing or special event?
- All Partners and Retired Partners aged over 18 whom hold a Partner Discount Card that is valid for the dates of the proposed sail.
- Partners and Retired Partners must be members of the Sailing Club.
- Partner/Retired Partners; dependant children aged over 18 who are in full time education and are dependants of the Partner and live at the same address (permanent address) as the Partner or with another parent/guardian.
- Spouses, civil partners, living as a couple aged over 18 when the Partner/Retired Partner is present for the duration of the booking.
- The Partner can book one additional guest aged over 18 charged at guest rate if spaces are left unfilled by Partners two weeks before the sailing date.
- Non dependant children, of any age are counted as guests.
- Partners aged over 18 whom hold a Partner Discount Card that is valid for the dates of the proposed sail.
- Contractors and consultants aged over 18 will be charged a daily non-Partner supplement.
- Partners must be members of the Sailing Club.
- Partners and Retired Partners whom hold a Partner Discount Card that is valid for the dates of the proposed sail.
- The daily sailing fee includes the cost for Partners and Retired Partners; spouses, civil partners, living as a couple; dependant children under 18; dependant children aged over 18 who are in full time education and are dependants of the Partner and live at the same address (permanent address) as the Partner or with another parent/guardian.
- Non dependant children, of any age are counted as guests.
- Guests will be charged a daily non-Partner supplement.
- Parents must provide their own life-jackets for children weighing under 40kg.
- The Partner/Retired Partner making the booking is responsible for paying for all members of their party plus the hourly fuel supplement.
- Sailing fees must be paid in full at least six weeks before the sailing date.
- If you cancel within four weeks of the trip, the cancellation fee is 25% of the cost of the trip. Within seven days it is 50% of the cost of the trip, and within 24 hours of the trip it is 100% of the cost.
- The Partner/Retired Partner making the booking is responsible for paying for all members of their party.
- The Partner/Retired Partner making the booking accepts full responsibility for the conduct of those included in the booking.
- The Partnership will not take responsibility for loss or damage to personal items during your stay or for items left following departure.
- Ensure you have adequate personal accident and holiday insurance, including cancellation and curtailment cover for the booking.
- Sailing is an active and participative activity that can be dangerous if safety rules are not followed. Participants should make sure that they have sufficient mobility and fitness to fully take part in these activities, and are required to inform their skipper if they have a condition that may affect their welfare or ability to join in before they set sail.
- If participants have any allergies, food intolerances or special dietary requirements it is their responsibility to inform the skipper and provide alternative dietary items as required.
- The Club reserves the right to allow skippers to be able to refuse an individual the opportunity to sail if they deem the circumstances necessary.
