1. Formation of Agreement

2. Registration and account deletion
To access the Website, you have to complete the online registration form to gain access to the site. Only working Partners or leavers with benefits for life or leaver benefits can register (one account per Person). In alignment to the Partnership’s privacy and security policies, the website may collect personal information such as name, login email address, employee number and any additional information which is submitted when applying for leisure and other benefits. We do so in order to provide leisure and other benefits for you and your nominated discount card holder and comply with our obligations to you under your employment agreement. All Personal Information collected will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant security policies. This information can be found in the Partner Handbook.

If you consented to receive weekly offers by email you can unsubscribe from these emails at any time via your profile area within PartnerChoice. If you leave the Partnership this does not automatically remove you from our emails and website. If your account has been inactive (not logged in) for 12 months or more, in relation to our GDPR retention period your account will be deleted. If you want to delete your account at any time, you can request this by emailing partnerchoice@johnlewis.co.uk to request your account and all data held on PartnerChoice to be deleted.

3. E-mail and password
The email and password you use are personal to you and are not transferable. Any breach or suspected breach of security of a user name and password should be notified to us immediately. You will be responsible for any payments due for Goods ordered through the Website by anyone using your user name and password. We ensure the confidentiality of any Personal Information transmitted to us after you have entered your password. You are responsible for the use of your password and maintaining its confidentiality. If you have chosen to participate in an organised event, your contact details may be used to provide you with specific information relating to the event. In some cases, your contact details maybe shared with other Partners on that specific event.

To provide increased benefits to our Partners, we may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked website we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not review or endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for (i) the privacy practices of such websites, (ii) the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or (iii) the use to which others make of these websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services available on such external websites or resources. John Lewis Partnership, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, excludes all representations, warranties and conditions as to quality, fitness for purpose or of any kind relating to the benefits on our website* and the use of our website*. Any benefits featured on our website* are offered solely by, and are the sole responsibility of, the applicable supplier, are not recommended for any particular purpose by JLP and JLP will not be liable in respect of any loss arising out of any event. The Partnership may receive commission on completed sales through a provider listed on PartnerChoice. 8. Your Data
Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we’ll only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.
