The Leckford Estate

Leckford is a working farm and some areas have limited access for visitors.  The River Test is used during the fly fishing season between 1 May and 15 October. During this time walking and cycling along the river is not allowed.  The Test Way provides an alternative pathway/cycle route that is open all year and is opposite the entrance to the hotel.

BBQs & fire pits

Campsite and Bell Pitched Tents: Partners staying on the Campsite and in our Bell Tents are allowed to bring their own BBQs and fire pits but they must be raised off the ground so that it does not burn the grass.  We kindly ask you to dispose of coals once cooled in the metal bin provided in the waste disposal area.

Lodges: Lodges have a built-in BBQ outside which can be used if required. We kindly ask you to dispose of coals once cooled in the metal bin provided in the waste disposal area.
