Welcome

Thank you for your reservation, we are very pleased you have chosen to stay at Brownsea Castle and look forward to your arrival.  In the meantime, we have included some useful information within these guide pages. You'll find everything you need to know about the hotel and the surrounding area. From check-in time to the room details. From great activities to the best local attractions and things to see and do. A few details we'd appreciate

We should have all your details already stored in our system and you should hopefully have received our confirmation email before you arrived. If you have any dietary requirements or special requests please let us know before your arrival so we can do our best to accommodate you.
 

 

Boat timetable

Sailings to Brownsea at 10:30, 15:00 and 16:30
Sailings to Poole at  10:00, 14:30 and 16:30 
 

Boat from Poole

Our Castello berths in the marina opposite Tesco Express, which is on the harbour front, five minutes walk from the nearest car parks. Please wait by the Brownsea Castle sign at the top of the marina ramp, where you will be met by one of our Skippers. Please do not enter the marina beforehand.  https://w3w.co/free.spark.refers

 

Boat from Sandbanks (no luggage movement on this route)

The Sandbanks jetty is out of service until spring 2026 following a structural failure. The National Trust awaits Marine Management Organisation and planning consent before they can begin repair works.

 

Car parks in Poole

 

Poole Quay Hotel (BH15 1HD)

*Please note the Poole Quay hotel has closed, meaning our car parking arrangement with them has ended. 

The car park remains operational using the 'evology' app, location code 9580.

 You will need to renew your parking daily using the app.

 

Quay Visitors Multi Storey  (BH15 1SB) 

 Same distance from the marina as Poole Quay Hotel

 Pay by card on exit 

 

Vehicles and their contents left in a car parking facility are at the owner's sole risk in all respects.

 

Luggage

You may bring as many items of baggage as you require.

Please note that, due to health & safety restrictions, NO bag should exceed cabin size proportions/ 15kg.  

 

Arrival 

Reception can be found in the main part of the castle. You will be provided with a room key and all the information you require to make your stay relaxed and comfortable. Ensuring you have an enjoyable and happy stay with us is our priority and we would ask you to read the guest guidebook and safety notices, in your room.

 

Check-in is from 3 pm when everything will have been prepared for you.

 

Departure

Check-out time is 10 am. Please leave your room key in the door to signal to Housekeeping that your room is vacated. Please leave your luggage in the luggage room where it will be collected and taken to the boat for you.

All charges will be made to your room during your stay and the final account should be settled as you leave us. 

Our Partnership Hotel operates a card payment-only service. Payment should be made by credit/debit card only (no Amex).
